“YKS has become my home for yoga for a number of reasons – most of which can be summed up with Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Every time I walk into my 6 a.m. class, the doors are open, the scents are delicious, the music greets me, and the mood is peaceful. The studio is run efficiently and honors its class schedule. Naader offers years of experience and approaches his classes with an open acceptance and consideration for each student’s abilities. He offers food for thought throughout the class and teaches us to BREATH. Other studios I have visited have lacked the emphasis on breath. I am now a firm believer that the breath is what has made my practice a wonderful, fulfilling experience – one which takes me through the rest of my day in a peaceful manner. I find that the “breath” is called on throughout my day and it is lovely to use it as I need it. The other teachers are wonderful too. Jeffrey brings light and joy and acceptance, Art demonstrates calm experience, Carolina is gracious and easy to relate with. I know there are other teachers, but I have not taken their classes. A huge and grateful heart that YKS is where I was introduced to yoga and the place I travel to in the wee hours from Sierra Madre.”
